hey man, good news it’s very early on and you’ll have a good chance to recover. Yes your testosterone is low for your age, but I wouldn’t do anything right now. I took only 1 pill, and it wasn’t until 5-6 days later that I had my crash and had the same stuff, numb rubber feeling, cold penis. it’s one of the most frightening and isolating things you can go through. I was literally outside pacing in the yard until it got dark, and sometimes i’d go back and just walk around the street with worry. nothing kills your erections worse than anxiety. you need to give it time at least 2-3 months. feel free to pm me if you want to chat.
One pill? Fuck man. Did you recover?
Last week I was all fine I thought it was over but nope back to square one. It’s crazy.
My penis is numb. It feels like there is always a constant burning. Even walking is causing discomfort. The skin there is like rubber I can pull it all the way up almost covering my tip even though I am circumcised. I don’t understand how could the effect appear this long after treatment is done. I can’t even pull it to masturbate its literally just a rubber.
Well the why part is simple, the temporary or only 2% of side effects you see people say over and over just isn’t true. The pill crushes dht, relaxes muscles in that area and does a bunch of other nasty stuff. Everyone will tell you the same thing, just be patient and focus on being healthy. Yes I did recover, but I’m not 100%
My penis is turtling. Did you get that? If I bend over it turtles in. It’s crazy. I think my penis was bigger when I was 12.
I don’t know man this is really playing with my head. I really thought topical wouldn’t have that much systemic absorption.
I am just wondering if the turtling goes away?
When you say turtling do you mean it retracts back into your body? I’ve had this for the last 3 years.
It mostly went away for me.
Sometimes it comes back.
you have low testosterone, should go to an endocrinologist
In the meantime would suggest a pump and daily cialis to keep blood moving and avoid fibrosis
Sorry for asking, but how does low testosterone cause turtling?
im not expert but your testosterone levels regulate a whole raft of neurosteroids which basically drive most of the wide ranging pfs symptoms
one of which is the regulation of nitrous oxide in your penis, which causes your penile tissue to relax and form erections…if there is a severe lack of no
in your penis it would presumably cause the shrinkage effect we experience
again no expert but thats my simplistic view
I retested my testesterone levels came back 15. I was extremely anxious when I tested lower so that might have affected it. It doesn’t feel like a test problem. My friend for example has worse test scores yet he has no pfs.
My dick retracts all the way down. My skin is very loose. I can barely grab it. I can stretch the skin to cover the tip fully. I was restraining myself from taking Cialis I wanted to see if comes back to normal naturally. It did for a week but now its back full turtle mode. It’s crazy but I can’t get my brain to detect my penis.
I have an appointment with urologist Friday. This is insane. What kind of life is this?
How long did you take finasteride for? And how long to recover?
How long did you take fin for?
3 days, but I had a severe reaction to finasteride almost immediately.
It was like this for 2 months. It suddenly went away and hasn’t turtled since.
Did you try to treat it with anything like Cialis? Should I take that?
No.
I took a couple of supplements at the beginning, but I had bad reactions to them.
I think time helped the most.
The thing is, even if my dick is normal flaccid and erect sized, it doesn’t mean my libido recovered.
Someone posted a study how a lot of PFS suferrers have upregulated androgen receptors.
I’m not sure about your case, but I strongly suspect I have/had upregulated androgen receptors.
Prior to fin, I had drier skin and a lot of body hair.
After taking fin for only 3 days, I have oilier skin, even more body hair and accelerated hair shed (And immense scalp itch + scalp acne for the first 1.5 months).
I do believe my AR density went down since I stopped taking fin, but I do feel it’s still elevated. The scalp itch + acne are almost all gone, though I still feel my hair is shedding ever so slightly more than pre-fin.
I believe AR density has an inverse U-shaped effect on a lot of male traits such as muscle mass and libido. It could explain why you’re having penis problems even with normal test levels.
I have this weird burning feeling in my penis. It’s literally lifeless. It’s like a bunch of rubbery skin. What do you think of taking sarms like rad 140?
Ok but I never had that. Is that a common finasteride side effect? Wouldnt it resolve itself with time?
But it goes away with PT? What would they even do. Like what is involved in therapy. I have loose skin because my dick shrunk. Lost so much girth and length when flaccid
