Just wondering how many people’s general appearence has greatly changed since fin? I look tired and hagard six months after stopping, my eyes are the worst.
My appearance has deteriorated I used to look like a teenager (I’m in my early 20s) now I look very unhealthy and it makes me look much older. My face looks gaunt and my eyes have shadows under them and my skin looks dull and lifeless. From what I have read when guys become hypogonadal the same thing happens and when their testosterone levels come back up their appearance returns to normal. My testosterone levels are very low so I am hoping to restart my HPTA.
Hope you see some positive changes from your HPTA restart. What are you planning to do?
i feel i must look like a very sick, very odd person to anyone who sees me or comes in contact with me anymore … but this kind of thing stings less and less as time goes because quite frankly i do not care anymore about “normal” things such as my appearance.
Is it lack of sleep that is causing most of your symptoms? My destroyed sleep pattern seems to be the root of all mine.
my sleep has been horrendous since using finasteride, but i am quite certain my/our issues cannot be fixed by good sleep, unfortunately
Are you seeing any improvements? How’s your sleep?
My eyes have sunken more in the 2 years off Propecia. Also, my face is much more bloated/ feminine looking. I used to have a lean, somewhat narrow face. Now, it is literally round (face shape has changed considerably in time going off drug) and my eyes are less noticeable and sunken in. I have much more fat in cheek area and around mouth. I look about 10 years older than I am now.
my face and neck has become thin like a women and complexion has also changed…now my appereance has become more feminine
