Fungal Cream messed me up?!

Me again, the guy who never used fin/prop/accutane/ssri. I thought my genital numbness, no erection in 2 years, ed, sexual anhedonia were caused by a crash diet. However I also noted that the only drug I have ever used in my life was a corticosteroid cream for a fungal rash on my buttocks/inner arms etc. i have had this itchy/dry scaly rash since I was 10 and have been rubbing the cream on my thighs, buttocks inner arms often.

2 years ago I noticed a huge crash that I attributed to my diet but I have not recovered. Surely it is not the diet. Anyways I came across this. https://www.thehealthsite.com/diseases-conditions/horrible-side-effects-of-topical-corticosteroids-k0817/

Im currently in Croatia and grew up in Canada . My doctor who prescribed me this is now in pension and I have been emailing him about my situation. He has responded to every email within 2-3 days. Once I mentioned him that I believe I have something similar to PSSD and PFS , he hasnt responded in 4 months!!! I am also trying to get a hold of the pharmacy to get a history of medications I used , but no luck. Odd enough this rash has mostly gone away and it is not itchy like before!

Have you followed up with the doctor a few times? Is it possible to get him on the phone?

Yes I have contacted him on the phone all the way from Croatia. He seems like he wanted to help but he is in pension now. When I mentioned the genital numbness lack of libido. He just asked me if I ride a bike alot. Didnt even ask for mri results or anything. He said im young, and to enjoy life and not worry about it!?! WTF?

Could you ask him what he would have prescribed for the rash today?

I assume you have already but if you were using it for a long time, presumably it would be a standard thing. If he told you the name, do you think you’d recognise it? Could you ask a pharmacist or another doctor what the most likely cream was?
