Just wanted to share with you my story, and give you all a bit of hope…
I haven’t been signed on this group in years but it was a part of my life several years ago when I had serious sexual side effects from Propecia.
I took Propecia at age 22 in August of 2000. Magically, in July of 2003, my erections were not as firm as literally a month before. I can still remember the condom falling off and thinking that this was the first time this has happened, and why all of a sudden were my erections not as strong as before.
Stupidly, I took this pill for another 2 years and stopped in August of 2005. I had the most strenuous blood testing imaginable, with all the hormones checked. Everything always came back normal. I went to urologists, who all said I should take Viagra, which I did. The truth is, Doctors have no clue why you are having sexual side effects and some Doctors would like to convince you that you really need a sex therapist and that it’s all in your head.
I can tell you that it’s not in your head, you have a physical malady that really cannot be corrected. Jeez, now that I think about it I even bought and took pills from that loveaction.com or actionlove.com. That was a waste of time and money.
My erection qualify returned to full strength in 2009. I don’t remember the exact date because I still remember taking some Viagra at the end of 2008. But now, in 2010, I can tell you with 100% certainty that my erection quality is 100% like before. I’m basically as hard as a rock, and horny as hell too.
I’m 32 years old now.
So if you are suffering from poor erection quality as a result of this Propecia and it is messing up your mind because you don’t know if you can perform so you have to take 25 mg of Viagra to give yourself some reassurance, let me tell you that it may take 4.5 years, but you will return to normal, as I have.
I just wanted to let you know, so that you have something to look forward to.
I’m not dealing with this issue with my girlfriend, who has been on Zoloft for 5 years. She is not even off of it yet but I’m hopeful I don’t have to wait 4.5 years for her to get back to normal!
