While looking into hippocampal atrophy I noticed another condition associated with it sometimes called frontotemporal degeneration/dementia or Ftd…

I noticed a lot of the mental and physical symptoms I have from pfs over lap with this disorder…

As anyone heard of this or known someone who developed the disease?

Atrophy would be seen on mri

Also this is a progressive disorder…pfs pssd pas obviously can cause major deterioration but we have members who are suffering for over 10 years who don’t display what that disorder would be

Is it really a progressive disorder? It seems like most people get better over time. I don’t see people are saying different things
