I have been on the Boots pharmacy hair retention programme ( UK based pharmacy chain ) for 3 months. When I went in today for a review I was told that this medication has been linked to breast cancer in men. I told them I would prefer to discontinue treatment. I cant believe they did not phone and tell me . They said its a ‘slight and minimal risk’ but surely everyone on the programme should be informed !?? cancer vs hairloss I think I know which one I would rather choose,
Yes this is a new warning on the packaging, but the info has been known for awhile.
