Finasteride Brain Fog?

Hey guys. Just wanted to hear some of your opinions on what exactly your brain fog feels like. I started finasteride 7 weeks ago and have felt groggy and spacey recently like my IQ has dropped a bit. I took 0.5mg today and will be cutting down more tomorrow if i haven’t improved. The cognitive side effects are the worst part.

Could not achieve an erection today, my skin has turned dry and blotchy, dark circles under my eyes, and the worst part is the severe brain fog. I look like shit and i’m completely depressed. I’m unemployed and need to get a job very soon because my money is running out but getting hired while i feel like this will be like moving a mountain. I just do not understand why the fda has not taken this off the market.

today i just flushed all of my remaining finasteride. I was on it 7 weeks this time and the past few days i’ve had terrible brain fog, dizziness, general feeling unwell and just do not want to continue treatment. Also no morning and weaker erections. But now i’m scared that i may develop full blown pfs by going on and off the drug twice. After i quit the first time it took a while before i felt somewhat normal again, but i’ve heard bad things about people going on and off…anyone hear successfully quit finasteride a second time and make a recovery?

I may have already fucked myself. I went on it last year, quit from sides, felt like crap for awhile and after a few months of thinning i was feeling better and decided to have another go at it. Afraid of quitting again this second time snd having a serious crash

After two reported adverse episodes, I can’t fathom you taking the risk in trying Finasteride for a third time otherwise. In any case, this forum is for patients who are suffering persistent affects upon discontinuation of antiandrogenic substances.
