I am male 29 suffering from severe erectile dysfunction after i took finalo 1 mg for 8 days(05 sept 2012 - 16 sept 2012). 3 days gone after quitting Finalo 1 mg, but no erection yet. trying to watch too much porn, trying to masterbate too hard but nothing else then orgasm with non-erected penis.
Dont know wat to do.
Have read many post but not sure if these side-effects are reversed with time.
I really hope that 8 pills of 1mg finasteride should not make me impotent forever, or will it ?
i just need necessary guidance.
I have had very depressing 2 days but now i am a bit calm, just taking it as one more challenge and hope fully i will be back to normal.
Today on 19 sept 2012, i dont have any erection of any sort but yes i have regained a little bit sensation back which was completely absent for 3 days back.
Please help me with necessary guidance, i am trying my best to keep myself calm but its really hard coz i used to masterbate 4-5 times perday till date ever since since i was 14 yrs old.
Somebody please tell me, that can it be reversed ? if yes than how?

this happened to me became totally impotent on the 7th day. penis got limp, numb unresponsive to touch or stimulation. but the worst is the shrinkage part. i lost some girth because of this drug. i wish you well and recovery.
I would wait and see if things get better in the next weeks. Do not worry, don’t panic, as this can worsen things very much. You may want to take some exams: principally
Testosterone
LH
FSH
Estradiol
Prolactin
Try talking to a endocrinogist with competences in adrology. It would be best if he is from a university and getting many patients. In this case he probably is more aware of problems with finasteride.
