Finally a period of recovery!

Hi!

There are so many new names on the forum that I am not sure how many remember me, but I was one of the very active members at the old Yahoo forum, and I have also been writing here occasionally. Anyway, today I am glad to say, that I am finally experiencing my first period of recovery. I actually feel cured and have been feeling that way for 5 days. It has been now 4 years and 4 months after I quitted finasteride. It might be that the fight is not over, since with for example John Coleman had these sort of part time recoveries before actually getting his body back to balance. I am hoping that this state would be a lasting one but we will see.

What I did? If not everything, I think I did quite much. Ate all the possible supplements, did workouts, went to doctors, used testo with doc’s prescription, after a few others I realized that regular docs and popping more pills cannot help, then did as much Tony Robbins’ Living health program, and other things and other things. I am not able to say any one thing that lead to a better health. I have had already quite good energy levels during the last let’s say, a year. Just my penis has not been working as it should.

The last things i have done during the last year is that I managed to beat my quite hard depression, which worsened after i had felt that I had done all I could to beat this. I re-found Christianity in this mess, which did me good. Excess stress also faded away after finalizing my thesis and getting my degree. I also went to an acupuncturist, who is an impotence specialist, for 5 times for my condition, which I think might have been helpful.

In case my recovery is now permament - I should be able to see it in a few weeks/months - I could send a mega-post to the forum which explains basically all the things I have done during these years. Please request if you want me to do so.

Thanks a lot guys, during the darkest hour I could not have coped without the support from you guys at the old forum. I am very thankful for that. I am hoping that my fight on this battlefield is over, but cannot know yet for sure.

Wish you the best,
Dynaaminen

Dynaaminen -

Can you please post your experience with finasteride (use, problems you developed, etc) in the Members Stories section? I searched your posts in this forum and I couldn’t find it. Thank you.

That’s awesome!! I am familiar with Tony Robins work as I myself am taking the “let your body heal it self approach,” and am also going to be following a live/raw foods diet for as long as six months to a year. Right now I am 4 days into a 21 day water only fast at a facility in CA. I must say, that after four days with nothing but water, I am quite lucid. I have high hopes for the remainder of the fast and of course afterwords, which is when the real healing takes place. I plan on letting the forum know of my results. Good going, and may you keep healing for good.

Damn, nothing but water… somehow I wonder if I’d even survive that

Congrats on your improvements Dynaaminen!

Well “cdnuts”…I did not follow the Robbins’ program from A to Z, only did the green drinks, eliminated caffeine, and basically did it all to the extent I felt comfortable doing. His program is a bit too hard to follow even 70%.

I have not posted in a year. Any of the old members still present here?

Well, it may be hard to follow, but not as hard as my life has been with this finestaride brain and all of the other problems. That, is hard. No pain, no gain. This natural diet is difficult, but the results are to good to ignore. Anything good is worth sacrifising for. What is the cost of health? Does it have a price? I am guessing most guys on this board would say no. Plus, what is six months to a year on this diet? I’ve lost more time than that already due to my symptoms. I know it’s going to be difficult, but it is necessary. I hope you stay symptom free. It sounds like your out of the woods now.

It sounds like this guy recovered, he never returned after this post.

Dyna, glad to hear you are doing OK… hope you post something soon so I can hear on your recovery… hope the best for you…

Why is this not in the recoveries section?

He posted that and never came back, i bet he stayed well. Your right though, probably shouldn’t actually go in the recoveries thread because of the 5 day mention.

Sounds to me like he would have come rushing back to tell us if he’d stayed well.

He has written that if he stays better he posts a (quote) “mega-post” of recovery. I don’t understand it. If I had recovered I would give all members insight into my recovery since I know how tough it is to suffer from PFS.

I can understand people getting better and not coming back to be honest. For a number of reasons actually. Personally, because i have made brief recoveries i would never post in the recoveries section unless i was better for 6 months or possibly even a year or two, by that time someone could easily forget. Or some people might just really not want to ever see this forum again if they are better. It would obviously be much better for us if those that improved considerably came back and informed us.

I would like to know everything you did. I’m trying everything.

Hi guys! Sorry that I have not posted in a while. The reason is that I thought that I would cure myself 100% and only after that return with the advice that would hopefully end this crap for us all.

My situation now: I have experienced some brief series of days where I have felt quite much healed. One of my best periods was year ago. I did that doing heavy gym 4 times per week and at the same time I was using the best potency herbs I have found. Now I am trying to solve how to have the same effect without the herbs.

This thing has “taken” something like 9 years from my life now. Haha! No other problem has been so big to me, and hopefully will not be in the future. At 31 years old I still have some hope. One key thing is to guard how you feel and not letting depression take you and your ability to function in every day situations out. In other words, do the things that make you feel the best you can feel! and do not over-exhaust your already taxed systems with excess sexual acts and masturbation! Keep it light and let your system recover by itself as much as it can.

Anyway, after researching a bit on the kidney organ system in traditional chinese medicine (it has a vital role in sexual issues), I wanted to make that better with herbs. Success. I personally used following Ron Teeguarden’s herbs: Dragon Jing, Ant Essence, Shou Wu Formula and Healer’s Tea, which he mentions to be the best there is as a men’s jing formula (dragonherbs.com/prodinfo.asp?number=121. His herbs are premium, I am sure there are also other good sources, but these are the ones I used.

I have tried numerous things on this journey of mine. Last year I tried going to a spine manipulator who discovered that my L3 vertebra was out of whack. This is the one vertebra that the kidney meridian is going along, and if L3 is not straight it disturbs the kidney meridian’s energy flow. I got it fixed, and damn right did it benefit. I am able to workout longer in the gym without losing my strength. I think that my will power has also increased after that correction. Anyways, I would suggest that could you guys get your spines checked and it would be nice to know do/did you have some misalignments? I would suggest going to a top notch professional who can manipulate your spine. I want to emphasize that chiropracticors might not be the best because they do their manipulaton quite violently. I had mine done by a “Kalevalainen jäsenkorjaaja”, which is an old craft Finnish way of manipulating spine and body, that does involve aligning the ligaments and muscles so that the spine corrects its position by itself. I think the closest thing in USA might be doing NSA, it stands for Network Spinal Analysis. naturalnews.com/034778_network_spinal_analysis_nervous_system_health.html

Herbs, body alignment, heavy gym are the top3 to start with. Do not ever OVER exhaust yourself with sports however.

Within the next moves I will be making is eliminating the excess xenoestrogens from my body. DIM+calcium-D-glucarate to name some stuff. Xenoestrogens might be one big issue. Check Charles Poliquin with this article that is divided to 3 parts. If you want to search more Anti-Estrogen stuff, I suggest reading Ori Hofmekler’s book “The anti-estrogen diet”

You can write me to my email address - dynaaminen first part and the rest is yahoo.com. (A spam elimination way of telling it). I will try to read it sometimes, and most likely answer to this thread if there are many questions.

And by the way, when dealing with this issue it might be good to watch the movie The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. You do want to guard what you think and therefore how you feel.

So you are still suffering? how far recovered are you, or is it just the occasional good day that you have?

Thanks

Bluecloud87, I’d say I am about 90% recovered. I do not even want to try to remember the list of symptoms that I had at my worst point. My challenges for now are increasing my libido and overall performance.

this guy hasnt been online for quite a long time. hopefully hes doing all right.
