I’ve been on fin for 2 different periods (yeah I’m an effing idiot). While I was off it, 2 yrs ago, my testosterone levels were over 30 (don’t remember the exact figure), and when I got back on it, it dropped to around 15. Now that I’ve been off the drug for about 2 months, the T-levels are over 34! Should fin make this dramatic a difference to ones T-levels? I felt like shit when I was on it, I was literally freezing 'cause my body temp was so low, tired, fatigued, etc. I still have those symptoms to some extent, but it’s not that bad anymore.

Finasteride decreases the free testosterone level in all cases. I have seen a couple of independent studies that proves this. It appears to be a natural consequence, since SHBG has a stronger affinity for DHT, and when that level is reduced by 70%, testosterone will take the hit. I know another guy from Portugal, who developed secondary hypogonadism after using Propecia, but unlike you, his level didn’t return to normal after quitting the drug. He got a blood test before he began treatment with Propecia, and was diagnosed by the doctor. The doctor decided to treat him with TRT (Sustanon injections), but unfortunately it didn’t improve his symptoms. I haven’t heard from him in a while, so I don’t know how he’s doing now.
martinM, I’ll post them when I get them. I only phoned and asked the testosterone level. That secondary hypogonadism thing is kinda interesting; hypogonadism was the 1st conclusion I came to when I studied the symptoms, but it was never confirmed by a doctor although the symptoms were there.
