Feel worse after eating

I’ve noticed that if I’m out to get something to eat and I’m not feeling that anxious or skittish, after I eat a meal, I will start to feel anxiety creep in and feel like I just want to leave the restaurant. It’s as if my brain just shuts down from the food and I don’t want to think or try and have a conversation any more. Does this happen to anyone else?

this is with any meal or more pronounced with a carb heavy meal or a junk food meal as opposed to a healthier meal?

It is definitely more pronounced with a junkier meal, and yes, come to think of it, if it is a big plate of pasta, forget it. My head just shuts down and I become extremely uncomfortable with the company I am keeping. It does happen with other meals as well but it is less intense and I can usually “push through it.” Is this common with others as well?

These posts above have nothing to do with what I am talking about. There is a big difference between having chronic fatigue and having your brain stop transmitting signals all together.

I can’t sleep even If I am dead tired. I just turn into a zombie. All I can do is lie there and have my body get somewhat comfortable, but my brain doesn’t get the message. The signals are all f’ed up. I can feel this.

I don’t touch coffee. Never did.
