How you react to adversity is who you are.
Seems he reacted to adversity by going public with his name and story which ultimately helps all of us, rather than googling irrelevant theories. Then again you haven’t even told your friends why your brain’s mashed so wouldn’t expect you to step up to the plate.
Stop bickering. Tim doesn’t like guns. BP does. It has nothing to do with PFS or getting the word out. Focus on what’s important.
I admire your courage, BP. Ditto your four-pronged “plea” (read “demand”?) to Kenneth Frazier. I could not have delineated it better myself.
That got me thinking about something: Since it’s on Frazier’s watch that tens of thousands of men around the globe are systematically being rendered impotent by Propecia, hasn’t it dawned on him that for the rest of his life he’ll need to be looking over his shoulder?
If I were him, I’d have yanked Propecia off the market at the first sign that something was amiss – and bent over backwards to apologize to all the victims.
Not even so much because that’s the right thing to do, but because I wouldn’t want to spend the rest of MY days worrying about some poor guy whose life I’d ruined – and who now has nothing to lose – approaching me in public before… well, let’s not go there.
Suffice it to say, I value my freedom and well-being.
Then again, I’m a pretty bright guy.
Time will tell if Frazier can lay claim to the same.

Completely out of line remarks and grounds for consideration to have posting priviledges removed or limited IMO. You have no idea how severely he is effected so you have absolutely no grounds to make such judgemental statements about his employment. Seperately, no one could care less about your opinion on Americans or gun control and as has been already pointed out has zero to do with PFS. If you have time to even consider such things I wonder if you share the same condition as the rest of us. I think a few here are taking for granted what media exposure means to this community and the courage BP and SA have shown in paticipating in these stories.
I don’t even know what to say to this guy anymore. He obviously has no spine and criticizes a guy for going public because he was fine then took propecia and got mentally and physically harmed. There are lots of people who have had their careers dismantled because of propecia as well as their personal lives… It is my opinion that Tim’s main purpose here is to cause strife and conflict for no good reason. Calling a guy cry baby because because his health, career and romantic life has been ruined by finasteride and he wants to see this drug yanked from the market and career restored? You sir, are the real fool here… I don’t think you are going to find much sympathy for your opinion among any people here.
I agree. Tim’s posts are completely out of line and should be pulled form this thread, simply out of respect to BP, who has contributed to the board. I do not get the negative attitudes and attacking fellow sefferers that goes on here.
I am honestly really disappointed you would say this to another human being, let alone another pfs patient.
