Out of curiosity I was wondering how many post-Propecia sufferers also feel chronically tired, fatigued or in pain. Anyone besides me feel constantly weak, mentally dull and incapable of completing tasks due to fatigue?
Yes, without any doubt. Previous to fin a was a marathon runner (ran 13), cyclist, went to gym 2/3 times a week (nothing too crazy though). Now I can hardly get up in a morning, and the thought of hard physical activity switches me off. I have been to the gym since fin but it’s a pretty pathetic sight…then again, just 3 weeks of Propecia left me with abnormal T levels off the bottom of the range. My T dropped and dropped as the months went by. My latest blood test was done bang on 9am and it just crept back inside the lower limit…so all my GPs and the hospital endo staff said “OH, DON’T WORRY EVERYTHING FINE” I’M SO BLOODY ANGRY!!
Anyone else find that persistent fatigue is a main symptom of their’s?
I definitely think this is a side effect of fin use. I’m a completely different person. I use to travel all of the time and would have energy throughout the day. I can now barely struggle through the work day and I only work 9a.-5p. I use to be able to tolerate caffeine to get some more energy but now I can barely handle a cup of coffee. I eat right, try to exercise, and even with lots of sleep, I still battle feeling tired all of the time. I feel for everyone on this one. People should post suggestions for how to battle this side effect.
Im still fighting with this up and down. Has this went away for anyone yet?
Don’t have the same amount of energy as I did before Fin, but fatigue definitely began improving approx 2 years off and thereafter. No idea why.
Yes, this is a major symptom for me. I find it hard to go out and hold myself up, feel very tired, no gusto, low stamina. The only thing I’ve done for it is CoQ10, L-Carnitine, and adding some Zinc. Yohimbe, when it worked, stimulated me out of fatigue but made me exhausted afterwards. I think I’m going to try and see if Tribulus Terrestris helps. Could be caused by low androgen.
I guess I will check all my hormones to see whats been affected so far. Ive had days where I got all my energy back.
fatique here too…now better but not good…about fatique that’ s why i m thinking at adrenals too…i know ,i m sorry cause i think too many roots, but it’s for sure a chain that has damaged many body’s part .
I am getting hit with this bad now. My sleep is even more unrefreshing than before for some reason. The only that doesnt make sense is all other symptoms are pretty much gone but I am so severely fatigued now. Has anyone had this as a prt of the recovery process? Its been 9 months off so far and havent had fatigue like this yet.
