Fat loss = less estrogen?

How much truth is there to the idea that losing weight (in the form of fat) could help tip the balance away from E and towards T? If so how? I heard that the majority of aromatase (which converts testosterone to estrogen) is synthesised in fat cells. Maybe there is really something to this. Anyone successfully improved their condition by becoming leaner? Apologies if this has been covered before.

Not sure. I’m extremely skinny ( 135ish 5’11" ) and I know others are low weight as well. My doctor said it was very interesting that I had low cholesterol and he mentioned that he has seen other strange side effects with other medicines with patients who also had low cholesterol and he said it could have some connection.
