I started taking a vitamin complex meant for men and have been having nocturnal erections and morning wood for almost a week. That’s nice. I still don’t have the actual appetite for sex and so many spontaneous erections, but I’ll put it down to the stress I’ve been living through all this time (more than half of a year already).
Can anyone tell me why do I have such high estradiol and androstenedione? My doctor thought that it’s because of high testosterone, but then why do I have such high T?

Hyperthyriod?

Hyperthyriod have been associated with increased T and estradiol as a result. They dont know the exact cause for it but belive thats why gynocomastia sometimes develops in hyperthyriod patients.

Might be worth investigating.

Went to an endo and she said again that the slightly elevated estradiol is nothing to worry about, moreover when T is also high.
Let her test TSH and T4 just do anything there.

Why does finasteride, a 5ar2 inhibitor, leave me with increased estradiol and androstenedione!? Does anything besides the symptoms we all have seem of statistical value here? After searching I find so many with norma estradiol and androstenedione levels. This means it’s probably not finasteride related at all.
