I was taking Remeron since Nov 2018 (about 4 months) and then it started to not work at all for me. So I titered back the Remeron down to 7.5mg and will discontinue in about a week and am trying Trazodone for sleep. 2 out of 3 of the last nights I am getting an elevated heart rate about 30 minutes after taking the Trazodone…which makes the insomnia worse. If my heart rate would stay normal I believe it would put me to sleep. I’m wondering if this side effect will pass after a few days when my body gets used to it. If anyone has any experience with this, I would like to know. Thanks!
