I have been on TRT 100mg/wk of Test Cypionate for over 8 yrs.Been off Fin over 2 yrs and dealing with all the sexual sides which TRT is not resolving.I have noticed the following after testing my E2 levels
-48 hrs after injection the E2 level was 158 (range is 28 to 154 pmol/L)
-96 hrs(4 days) after injection E2 level was 99.
Do you guys think that some kind of excess estrogen surge is causing me to lose libido? If this is the case I might benefit from 1/4 tab of Arimidex twice weekly.I never had this problem in the six years prior to Fin usage but MAYBE(???) now I’m more sensitive to Estrogen.Who the hell really knows…just trying to explore every possible hormonal variation hoping to get better.

Have you checked your DHEA levels? Especially if you’ve never taken pregnenelone or DHEA while on testosterone replacement. From what im reading on bodybuilding forums, if you do TRT, your DHEA will sooner or later end up in the gutter. This may not be true for all TRT users, im not sure, but this is the impression I get.
Also I have read that TRT can stop working after a few months for some men. This can be directly attributed to low DHEA levels and once these levels are replaced, the TRT works again. This simply cannot be overlooked IMO.
Also theres seems to be a bit of a pattern with us who took finasteride having low DHEA levels. Its a worth a look IMO.
Thanx for the reply man.Actually my DHEA levels are virtually at zero and the doc says this is because I’m on TRT.What do you recommend? and what kind of difference should I expect to see on DHEA?I’ve heard it doesn’t do much???
