There has been much in the forums about finasteride causing a epigenetic change leading to our condition. There has been much research in that area, and discussions here about using CRISPR to “fix” things. A researcher has come up with a different approach in his cancer research. How do we get someone well versed from the foundation in attempts to see if any of what he’s doing may be applicable to us?

We band our resources together and try to raise awareness around our condition to then further research into it. CRISPR and other gene editing technology will be of no use to any of us unless we know what exactly to target. We won’t know that information unless we get studies done.
Unfortunately, that researcher would have no useful information to give to anyone from the foundation without the knowledge of what precisely is causing PFS/PAS/PSSD.
