Early 30's, about 90 days of Finasteride

Hi Folks,

Wanted to chime in on my story because I found reading others’ stories helpful.

Early 30’s average male, told my dermatologist that I’m experiencing hairloss, which I’m expecting based on looking at pictures of my cousins getting older. I don’t consider it a big deal, but I tell him if there’s any sort of “easy” treatment, then I would be open to it. He recommends Finasteride, says it’s easy, just a daily pill. I think 'great, nothing to comb through my hair everyday", I pick up my prescription which is cheap.

After a couple of months of daily taking it, I just don’t feel myself. I have really deep heavy bags under my eyes, I feel weak and worst of all I get these headaches. They’re headaches that throbs through the back of your neck. I personally experience these types of headaches accutely if I masturbate when I’m severely hung-over. (Maybe a little TMI, but thought I would bare it all for this forum  ). So basically I have bags under my eyes and daily headaches, and I’m like, WTF is going on? I google my medication that I’m taking daily and read this forum.

I’m like, damn, i don’t want these side affects, and stop asap. The side effects of headaches continue for another 2-3 months as it moves out of my system, but at this point, i would say I feel basically normal.

I guess I’ll just lose my hair like the rest of my bald-ass family.

Thanks for everyone’s stories and comments. If it weren’t for you all, I might still be taking it.

Cheers, (more details below).
