dutasteride ...

just curious,

duta is more potent than fina;
on hairloss forum lot of people
use it, but not much report about sides, compared to fina.
it’s only a fortuite case?
it’s only because it’s early?

or could be that finasteride is more dangerous than duta?

This is interesting because I’ve thought the same. Theoretically it shouldn’t be true, but you’re right many guys on forums don’t seem to get sexual sides on dut as bad as fin.

I think that monty guy who took both remarked that fin was a lot worse for his libido than dut.

From what I’ve read dut users seem to perhaps encounter stronger brain fog issues, which isn’t surprising.

I wonder if , as some have suggested, the longer half life of dut seems to lessen the possibility of a crash. It seems silly to suggest fin is safer when dut blocks even more DHT but we haven’t seen a load of victims. Obviously that’s due in part to it not being licensed for hairloss but many are taking it.

Pharmacogenetics play a role in how people respond to both drugs.

A possible reason is explained by chilln in his “primers” (musclechatroom.com/forum/content.php?121-baldness-and-prostate-101).

He basically thinks that it’s due to the different half-life of duta (5 weeks) compared to that of fina (6 hours), which makes the DHT suppression caused by fina (and sp) worse than that caused by duta.

I think you should have a look at ehealthme.com/q/dutasteride-side-effects-drug-interactions
note there are 11 reported deaths and 3 prostate cancers.

i can agree that death and cancers are more dangerous

but very less sides reported, compared to finasteride, isn’t it?
314 dut - 2646 fin

yeah, but how many total users of propecia and how many of duta?

you have right.

we need more specific statistic for right comparison
however anedoctally on hl forum people seems enjoy duta and also here i haven’t see so much duta victims

let’s see in future
