about these drugs one of them finasteride and second dutasteride , i used to take them together ,
they have different bioavailabilty & protein binding & etc ratios,
can they suppress eachother if they taken together in a human body?
??dutasteride maybe binds more than finasteride or dutasteride block finasteride pre-bindings or smth?? can be possible?
maybe dutasteride can be an antidot of finasteride sides…
Dutasteride is a dual 5AR inhibitor (5AR1 and 5AR2) and is even more potent than Finasteride (5AR2), blocking even more DHT.

It’s funny that Mew got confused and mentioned using dutasteride to relieve persistent side effects from finasteride here. I have been talking privately with a member of this forum who used dutasteride after suffering side effects from proscar that wouldn’t go away. Lo and behold he is now feeling better and he can definitely pin the improvements on going BACK ON dutasteride.

I just think the guy getting better after using dutasteride is interesting and then i came across that article.
Anything blocking the 5ar2 enzyme will raise testosterone and estrogen. Finasteride does this too.

It’s just crazy how someone can have nasty lingering side effects from proscar and be relieved by using dutasteride. There is also Denarion’s experience and mine (for 10 days). I am not sure if my finasteride experiment made me worse or not.
