Drugs to repair the Brain

Does anyone know of any drugs or supplements that can help repair brian damage ?

I believe PFS has caused us some level of brian damage.

I wouldn’t say repair, but these could help:

High dose Glycine (also upregulates 5-alpha Reductase)

Bumetanide:

In my opinion, the combination of glycine, taurine, niacinamide, l-arginine and vitamin D seems like the safest and potentially effective treatment, theoretically.

Thanks for the reply.

I may gave Glycine a try.

No problem. Lower doses won’t be effective. You can try the 0.8 g per kg of body weight like they used in the schizophrenia study. Let me know how it goes please, if you decide to use it.

Does Glycine need to be taking with Taurine ?

We don’t know if it’ll work either way. In the schizophrenia study they took it without taurine. If you can, take it with.

hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy

I feel alot better after exercise but I don’t have the energy to do much exercise.

Are there any drugs that can replicate the effect exercise has on the brain ?

low dose naltrexone might have some similarities

What would be a low dose ?

0.5-4mg

It comes in 50mg.

It would be hard to cut a pill into that size.

Do you know if the side effects are bad with the 50mg version ?

Completely different medicine at that dosage.

You probably need to have it compounded

Very interesting video on low dose Naltrexone.

A number of guys have tried LDN with minimal results.

To get the low dose, you need to use a compounding pharmacy.

There’s a thread on this forum were a couple of folks (me included) have shared their naltrexone experiences. TLDR - it’s somewhat helpful, but nowhere near a cure.
