I’ve been seeing Dr. Shippen for the last few years, although somewhat inconsistently. Unfortunately, I had no luck with HCG, Clomid, and aromatase inhibitors (other than eye floaters from Clomid use!). I’m thinking of going back on HCG and giving it another chance.
For those that aren’t aware, Dr. Eugene Shippen is the author of “The Testosterone Syndrome” and has seen many men suffering from Finasteride Side Effects.
Has anyone found an insurance plan that has Dr. Shippen in their network?
I was told by his office staff they won’t deal with insurance companies. Sorry. I don’t know what your financial situation is like, but Dr. Shippen’s office visit and phone consultation rates are reasonable.
You think $500 for an office visit is reasonable?
I think a lot of doctors charge similar fees but you usually don’t notice since your insurance pays them directly and insurance companies get discounted rates for doctors in their network. Depending on what type of insurance plan you have you may be able to get reimbursed for some of the office visit charge. In my case I got about half of it reimbursed.
