Dr. Crisler Recommendations?

Has anyone had any “positive” results by becoming a patient of Dr. Crisler? I visited his website, but there appears to be no bio of his training or background. I’m relatively close to his office, but before I pursue a consult I thought I’d get some feedback here. I’m about 2 months post-crash, and thought the sooner I see someone with PFS expertise, the better.

Like many on here, my Gen. Prac. MD and a urologist just want to throw Androgel at the situation and treat this like mainstream Low T or ED. I wish it were that simple.

Thanks for any advice.

Have the recommended labs done then see where you stand. If something jumps out like way out of whack T to e2 ratios then he definately would have a place to start. If hormone panel comes back fairly “normal” with most things in range except for 3 adiol G and low vit D I’d probably still go see but my expectations would be seriously limited. The truth of the matter is no one is really have success with treatment right now. If you can afford it go ahead. I’d guess you’re probably looking at $2k range for the initial appointment and labs. If you can’t, you really arn’t missing much.

Thanks. As of now, I know my SHBG is very high (82, reference range 10 to 57). Trying to get into an Ohio State Univ. Endo soon. Hopefully, they can address this and find out if I have any other issues.

I’d guess then Free T is also low? If so some here have used avena sativa to raise Free T levels.

He’s a good doc. A bit full of himself. But he is open minded. He does not have the answers for PFS, but will work with you on your adrenals and thyroid, or E2 if its high.

But then again you can do all that yourself as well.

there’s not much Chrysler can do about this yet, or anyone else for that matter.

Thanks for the replies. I’m interested in trying avena sativa. Any recommendations on a good supplement?

You can use Danazol or Stinging Nettle extract to bring down SHBG. Also studies show fish oil brings down SHBG.

Nettle root is 5AR inhibitor.

Correct I meant to add that in there.
