Dr Bernstein is a very prominent American hair transplant doctor. I noticed that he’s edited his page about propecia to include:

Post Finasteride Syndrome (PFS) is the term applied to reports of significant sexual, neurological and physical side effects, such as erectile dysfunction, depression, penile numbness, and loss of libido, that persist in men who have taken and then discontinued finasteride. Studies in progress are trying to better understand the incidence, cause and risk factors of PFS.

Which directly contradicts this part on the same page:

Prepare yourselves because the industry is likely to quietly rewrite its advice on propecia to avoid responsibility and blame. We must hold them accountable.

I ripped him one on Yelp awhile back. If I ever happen to be in NY I will pay him a visit for sure. It will not be pleasant.

To me, this is great news. The fact that he (a) acknowledges PFS – by name! – and (b) notes that clinical studies are in the works is a huge leap forward.

I love the smell of truth in the morning.

Excellent.

Do not go quietly into the night, stand up now and fight, fight, fight.

After all, Merck IS guilty.

They know they are guilty.

We know they are guilty.

We do not need federal or legislative institutions to tell us they are guilty.

Remember: The people brought Bill Cosby to justice.

And the people can bring Kenneth C. Frazier to justice.

Anyone who wants to argue with that better bring some big goddamn balls.
