Doubt of PFP

Hi, I’m Italian, forgive me for the bad language, but please try to answer anyway…
I stopped with finasteride a year ago , and coincidentally I started having some strange symptoms exactly a year ago:
Exhaustion (extreme and tolerable) , sickness , nervousness , digestive problems ( bloating , acidity , and bellyache), i feel always a general discomfort, recently confusion in the head.

I made many tests for esclude diseases, but they were negative.
I’m still doing tests , but I fear the wrong way … and that the solution is pfp…

Next test will colonoscopy…

What do you think?
Is most likely the pfs or symptoms are not closely related with the suspension to finasteride , and there may be other behind?

Please, help me…i’m not well

It’s probably finasteride that is causing your symptoms since they began the same time that you quit the drug… That has happened to a lot of people here.

Yes very likely the finasteride…

Thanks for the answer.
But, how can you be 100% sure that it is pfp ? What is my symptom/s unequivocal in your opinion ?

What do you think of my symptoms unequivocal that to talk PFP?
Because i not having sexual symptoms , think many doubts arise about the nature of my illness.

Moreover, some tests indicative for PFP ( androstenedyone glucuronide for example ) in Italy does not carry them out…i’m lost

not all men have loss of libido.

I also experienced symptoms upon quitting the drug. I’m more or less sexually fine too. Most of my sides are mental/physical. Our stories are similar, in fact, based on my observations, most of the long term users are likely to experience symptoms upon quitting. I mean, not the most scientific explanation, but after suppressing 5AR2 in your body for a few years, it’s normal for the body to have some struggles as it get some kind of used to it, I guess. Hope you get better. Hope you’ll get better.
