Dolichol deprivation theory

depending upon the nature of suffering I highly doubt about recoveries. I will never believe any recovery unless see blood reports. there have been many claims but at the end proved nonsense.

i think victims suffer here on different scale.
my blood test are good for example.
it depend what you call a recovery. It is possible to come back at 100% i spoke several time by phone to a guy who is in this case, and there are cases here.
but we can suppose they 'll keep a weakness, and are likely to relapse if they have other health or hormonal issue in the future.

I think its pretty foolish to make the assumption that every person who has become cured will never visit this site again to post a thread that will help or at least give hope to others.

And look at the facts in this thread, 1 guy apparently cured himself from eating spinach and now cant find 5 minutes to log onto the site to give all the guys he knows are suffering a quick update to give them some hope.Although is able to find time to send UK private messages about his 100% recovery? Yeh dont bother sharing your apparent success with the rest of the communityā€¦ Im sure he is too busy rooting every girl he can find now to make up for lost time hence cant find a few min to spare on this site. This is straight BS. No one else has seen any positive results from spinachā€¦ that speaks for itself

I am glad to hear that he is doing well, and I am not even claiming that he is BS-ing us. However, I would like for him to confirm his continued recovery in person, and if it turns out that he didnā€™t recover after all, I am sure that no one would be mad at him but everyone would give him a lot of credit for his coming forward with an unpleasant truth, in addition to all the credit he deserves for his impressive theorizing.

Look, I am not asking that he post the page-length entries he used to post, but I donā€™t think that it is asking too much to put in two minutes every other month or so to confirm that he is still doing well, especially given that he knows how many seeming recoveries have turned out to have been short-lived. I donā€™t think there is anything wrong with me for asking that much.

I have been juicing spinach for weeks now and feel no different.

I think itā€™s pretty obvious that ā€˜the spinach dietā€™ isnā€™t going to work for everyone. I am still baffled by the fact that TNTW created his own theory, treatment and consequently got better, but it is what it is.

My theory is that it was placebo effect, and somewhere deep down TNTW knows this too. So he is probably avoiding the board in fear that it will wear off. Or that he will psyche himself back into the state he was in. I do know, since I heavily consider the mental component here, that as heartless as it may seem, if I am ever 100% recovered, I will not linger on this board. I will post the basics and then run away-again, for fear of relapse based on the power of suggestion by all of the doubters. Just my two cents on TNTWā€™s cure and avoidance at this point.

This whole ā€œIā€™m recovered but Iā€™m too busy boinking/playing tennis to elaborate furtherā€ response is disappointing.

Please shoot me if I ever pull that $hit.

Woah, guys, I go on hiatus for a few months and suddenly thereā€™s a bunch of conspiracy theories! I havenā€™t said much lately because I havenā€™t had anything new to add. Iā€™m still 100%, and I havenā€™t gotten any worse since the last time I checked in. If I have any change for the worse, you guys will be the first to know.

I also elaborated on why I donā€™t think this has anything to do with the placebo effect. Also keep in mind that the dolichol deprivation theory has evidence linking finasteride to glycosylation disruption, and the spinach diet is another theory altogether; donā€™t mix them up.

We found a huge missing piece of the puzzle when SRD5A3 came to light, and we need to keep pushing for more research. I already found a myraid of resources, but this has to be a group effort. Arguing over your feelings isnā€™t going to help us get better. Start researching if you want to make a difference.

Very glad to hear all of that, tryingnottoworry.

This could do with going in the recoveries section just so people can see it/ remember it really. I think itā€™s really important to keep recoveries highlighted, even if they are dubious.

Paulwalters or ithappens recoveries are not in that section and they both involve GHB and candida treatment. Sure, they might be dubious but if they are not highlighted everyone forgets and never tries what they tried. Itā€™s terrible the way things are being ran on here at times.

Yeah, I never knew thatā€¦ anyone have a link to those?

TNTW- sorry I never saw any of your commentary on the placebo effect. Iā€™ll look them up for future reference. SO thrilled for you that you are still 100%. Looks like itā€™s pretty much permanent for you- congrats!!!

Has anyone else been cured or even improved a bit via this method? Just curious about others out there who have tried it. Also, can you please post if you did try it but didnā€™t succeed?

As i posted above, did nothing for me.

Interesting stuffā€¦ thanks to the OP for the extensive research and experimentation! Was heartening to read about your recovery.

Cheers!

For what is is worth.

I eat spinach pretty much every day and have done so for a couple of years. I eat a medium size bunch a day. Not too much.

As you may have seen, I experienced a total recovery in libido, at some stages my sexual desire was stronger than I ever remember it being. It happened a couple of days after really small doses of arimidex. The recovery faded in 4 - 5 days.

I have since repeated the arimidex experiment with no luck.

When I had the breif recovery I was also eating more spinach than I have ever eaten. The reason being is that the sales lady was busy and didnā€™t have it in bunches. So she sold me it in kilos. I purchased 2 kilos. Which was a shopping bag full.

I do remember at that time wondering if it was maybe the extra spinach having some indol-3/DIM type effect on my estrogens along with the arimidex.

That is really pretty much the only time I have seen my libido since quitting finasteride. I really would like to understand how this happened. I have tried TRT, proviron, andro hard, tyrsone, lphenalaine, broccoli. I have really tried a lot of things but none have worked apart from the arimidex that one time.

Blending vegetables results in much better absorption. I am going to buy a couple kilos this week and see what happens.

spinach is one of, if not THE healthiest vegetable you can eat. check out whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=43 and look at the rundownā€¦

itā€™s pretty hard what the exact mechanism thatā€™s taking place if spinach is giving you benefits because thereā€™s so many different things in it

has anybody considered to try this protocol? Or is there any further investigations in the dolichol deprivation theory. It is bad that this is not going on.

Hey guys, I just wanted to drop by and say that Iā€™m still completely recovered, with zero relapses of symptoms. Itā€™s strange to think about how awful things were only a couple of years ago, but Iā€™ve been able to move on with my life. I truly hope that the research I found in SRD5A3 can help you all, and Iā€™m sorry I couldnā€™t do more.

Good to hear your recovered tryingnottoworry.

Can I ask what you did to recover ?
