Is it possible that it could make hairloss worse?
For the last time, nobody cares about hairloss here anymore. If you keep posting these type of questions, you will be removed from this forum, especially since you are still taking Finasteride and continue to ask for assistance while you willingly take the medication.
Do a search on Sustain Alpha as it has been discussed here previously.
I did a search on Sustain Alpha but the search doesn’t allow you to put quotes on 2 words to keep them paired. There were tons of results with the words sustain and alpha seperated. I understand that this is not a hair loss forum, but I have seen people ask questions about certain products and avoiding them due to possible hair loss. Sorry, I didn’t think that would be considered a strictly hair loss question.
It’s pretty simple – Dermacrine Sustain (do a search for dermacrine), Sustain or Sustain Alpha or ANY TESTOSTERONE BOOSTING SUPPLEMENT by its very nature of boosting androgens (T/DHT) has the increased possibility of increasing hairloss.
I’m not even sure why this question needs to be asked in the first place as I would think this is common enough knowledge, if you understand how hairloss occurs (in men susceptible to hair loss, hair follicles are sensitive to androgens – hence use of Finasteride to reduce DHT, an androgen, to stop hairloss). Really, if someone doesn’t even understand the basics of how androgens (DHT) affect hairloss, then they probably shouldn’t even be taking a drug like Finasteride in the first place.
Regardless, boosting androgens would probably increase hair loss if you are genetically susceptible to it – its a no brainer, really. I’d suggest in the future posting these types of questions (testosterone boosting supplements exacerbate hairloss?) on hairloss sites. If you are interested in more info about this particular product, the manufactuer of Sustain Alpha has a forum where you can ask them questions directly.
Gotcha, thanks. I really thought I had read several threads where people mentioned concern of hairloss in using supplements.
You thought right.
Hair loss isn’t important here–having a sex drive is far more important.
