Does one have to have a certain intelligence to come to this point?

I had a miss thinking it was due to tribulus.

Took me a year to find out, my guess lots of people out there, dont know what the fucks goning on.

Its a creeper, wil slowley get you.

Happy to be as i am , woohoo :open_mouth:

what the heck are you talking about? Are you on drugs?

haha

Even though this is one of the bleakest forums on earth I still find this thread hillarious.

Well to be honest i drank quite a bit when i typed, this up.

Just am really pissed at myself, that it took me a year to get a bloodtest.
And at that point hormones were not so good.

My endo at the time ensured me all was ok, now 4 months later i asked to get an appointment with another endo in the same hospital, but they now recommend me going to another hospital, and my former endo doesn,t want to talk to me, only by appointment wich takes 2 weeks for a phonecall from him.

Well i think there might be more lads taking or stopping fina, who really dont understand the syptoms they are having. Like i did, to be honest i never linked it to fina, how crazy that may sound.

No, doesn’t really sound crazy. I was in the same boat… I started having EXTREMELY severe panic attacks, brain problems (felt like my brain was just going to stop working entirely sometimes), weird things started happening… like some nights, my penis LITERALLY disappeared (it retracted up inside my body, which scared the living crap out of me)

But when it started happening, I used the scientific method to look at all the possible variables (ie. anything in the world) and eliminate the variables. At the time, my air conditioner was completely busted and rapidly leaking freon, so I looked up freon and found symptoms similar to what I was having for overexposure to freon, so I freaked out and thought it was that.

But then I moved and it continued.

I was taking minoxidil topically so I did research on that, since it mentioned side effects of dizziness, etc. I found out it can affect your blood pressure and your heart and that there HAVE been a few reports of death due to topical minoxidil(!) believe it or not. So I dumped the rest of my supply in the trash.

But I continued on fin for 2 more months because I couldn’t put 2 and 2 together… why would I ever think to suspect it when NOTHING on the label/insert mentions ANYTHING about racing heart, palpitations, dizziness, liver enzymes, panic attacks, or ANYTHING other than sexual effects (which… I was still able to get erections and have sex normally, so I figured no problems there)

Every time I suspected fin could play a role, I searched on the Internet… and, of course, found nothing but hair loss sites singing its praises, studies about prostate cancer (for Proscar), and online pharmacies trying to sell it. It took months and months of digging deeper to finally find some posts of the TRUE side effects, buried beneath all the hype and propaganda and lies. As soon as I read other people having the exact same symptoms as I did, I dumped my fin supply in the trash. I just wish I had known sooner.

In fact, if ANY of these things had been reported in the original literature (possibility of PERMANENT sexual side effects; mood/depression/panic disorders; PERMANENT liver damage) I would have NEVER touched the stuff.

Probably a lot of people wouldn’t.

I guess Merck knows that. So that’s why it’s not in the fine print.
