Does anyone recover from puffy nipples?

I was on fin for 3 years, and then on dutasteride on and off for 3 more years. This last year I decided to finally kick the habit, haven’t touched the stuff for 10 months or longer

Great benefits, libido is back but not yet to full strength, hair looks bad but it’s not worth it. I’ve lost about 20 pounds as well and sleep better and generally feel better, but the puffy nipples problem is still there

I don’t think i have man boobs, they don’t really stick out, it’s just that the nipples seem hard to a degree at all times, so if i wear a t shirt you can see the nipples.

My question is, Does anyone ever recover from the puffy nipples? I’ve seen a lot of posts by people that have the same issue, but so far haven’t seen a story about getting rid of them successfully. I guess the easy answer could be just wear an over shirt over the t shirt, but i also get hot and uncomfortable very easily

Anyone else dealt with it successfully? I’d rather not take any more meds, i’m hoping that eventually hormones return to normal and they look less erect

duasteride can last in the system for a year, so give it some more time. you are very lucky that the other things returned back to normal.

Half life for Dutasteride is 5 months.

I saw a lot of people give advice on this subject, seemed to always be to go see a doctor. What kind of treatment does the doctor give for this? Something to address prolactin levels, or maybe an aromatase inhibitor like arimidex?

Has anyone had a successful treatment besides surgery?

In my experiences going on and off fin at least 4 times, for me it only took about 3 months or so, I guess a few months for it to leave my system and then another few for the testosterone levels to go back to normal.

With the dutasteride, it’s much worse, I can’t believe it’s been almost a year and I’m still not completely recovered

You can always get surgery if it’s really bothering you…

i prefer not to go that route, it is more silly looking and annoying then debilitating

plus if you wear two tshirts that kind of helps things, and i’m hoping someone has a story to tell of them going away at some point

wow 5 months! I was complaining for many months about saw palmetto smell from my burps even after 6 months and my wife laughed at me. I told her I could never forget bad smell (people who used SP know the nasty smell ofter consuming it) of saw palmetto from my breath and burp, and even my Dr did not believe me. Now I am sure just like Dutasteride saw palmetto also stays in your body for long time and hence the slow recovery.

Sorry, my bad. I meant half life lof Dut is 5 weeks, not months. Must’ve had a brain fogged moment, lol.
