Does Anyone Else Feel Better On An Empty Stomach/Fasting? Less Cognitive Issue's?

It’s more than likely related to the documented loss of Allopregnanolone synthesis from the drug, a neurosteroid which has cognition-related effects. Low levels of Allopregnanlone are being investigated as part of Alzehimer’s disease.

I tried water fasting for a few bouts of 24 hours around a month ago, and as soon as I ate, the benefits (which were there, oh yes) fell off, or at least the brain fog returned.

During these water fast bouts, though they were brief, I felt calmer, more capable of maintaining a complex train of thought, more optimistic, stronger (or more indefatigable), less alexithymic, and whaddaya know, my package wasn’t ice cold. Getting past the hunger was easy, I set out not to eat, and I didn’t. I’ll be attempting a 21+ day deionized water fast (until my body tells me it’s time to resume eating, so potentially longer) when November starts, but only if I can get out of the house I’m currently staying in, which is emotionally draining and spiritually asphyxiating, to say the least. Not a good fasting environment.

As soon as I eat, as in the first meal of the day, I feel like passing out. Sometimes, I do. Making a point not to eat has been of help. If I remember correctly, I even got midnight boners from it! WOOOOO!!!

Guys, I cherish every nocturnal erection I get. PFS really changes your perspective.

Possibly right and SSRI’s are thought to increase levels of Allpregnanlone so who knows. Although I got no relief from my brain fog from an SSRI. I’m dying for someone on this board to try 5htp. I know we will have alot of success stories with it. I’m not saying it will work for everyone but those who have been helped by diet I am sure will be helped.
