Doctors help?

Has anyone of these doctors; Goldstein, Shippen, Crisler, Jacobs, Stevens, been able to cure someone with PFS?

And why do none of these doctors accept insurance? I think that its very fishy that the only doctors “treating” PFS don’t accept insurance.

The only one that claims to have cured some guys with PFS is Crisler… Although I have NEVER seen someone posting on this forum or his forum (allthingsmale.com) saying that he has been cured by him… As for the others, No, they havent cured anyone…

They don’t except insurance because they are renowned doctors and don’t want to deal with insurance companies to get paid…

dgreene,

I posted a very similar post about 1 year ago, requesting that anyone who has had their side effects resolved through the care of one of these doctors please post and confirm that in fact these doctors are able to help alleviate some of the symptoms caused from Finasteride. I did not receive even a single reply indicating that one of these doctors were able to help a sufferer on this forum.

These doctor’s are very good doctors and all of them believe that Finasteride is dangerous, but there is really no proof they can offer you any better help than any other doctor. Some guys prefer to use these doctor’s because at least you won’t have to argue with them that finasteride could cause such problems.

If possible I would try to do something similar to what M81 is doinng. Find an alternative medicine doctor or a doctor that is open minded to exploring what could help remedy the problem through your research; and if your lucky enough his research as well. That said, It won’t be easy to find a doctor like this. You’ll probably have to see a bunch before you find an understanding doctor.

Boston - this is almost unbelievable. Not a single user has been cured with the distinguished experts?? I am shaken…

Is this sarcasm?

I think we all know now that they can’t really do much, beyond perhaps alleviating symptoms. Colossal expense in time and money to find out too.

When I first signed up it was a big deal if someone visited Shippen or Crisler and we eagerly awaited updates. Even Jacobs caused a bit of excitement to begin with. Now we have abundant proof they can’t really fix this to any acceptable degree. I suppose this is hard to accept if you just arrive here, but it will save you a lot of money and false hope.

On the plus side, at least we are now sure we have a highly complex problem that requires significant research to attempt to solve, and are making headway in doing this. No one is deluding themselves anymore.

**I should add that I’m glad guys who have visited these docs have reported back their experiences, and progress or lack of. It has helped the forum immensely to know that no one is having any degree of success, it points us in other directions and stops us clutching at straws.

Scared,

I’m not neccarrily stating that is the case. The only thing I am stating is that not 1 single guy responded to my thread claiming to have an improvement as a result of treatment from one of these doctors.

Either Chrisler or Shippen claims a success rate of about half of their patients. I can’t recall which of the two that was. Personally, I’m more than a little skeptical of doctor that claims he has helped dozens of men and not one of those men found his way onto this forum to rave about how he was helped from one of these doctors. In the end, it’s simply a personal decision and for me I don’t have thousands to waste by just hoping.

There is not a single report anywhere online about any of these doctors resolving PFS issues. It is indeed frightening, but what bothers me is that Crisler went around claiming that he has cured a number of PFS patients when he blatantly hasn’t. What about these ‘suicides’ he refers to on the video as well? there has only been one that this forum is aware of.

Thanks Boston - count me as one of the ones who has sat on the sidelines hoping for updates from those using these docs and hopefully some useful protocols. I also did not have thousands to throw at this - especially since I not very close to any of the doctors. I am shaken though becuase in the back of my mind these were always a next step if I could not gain any imrpvovements.

L/F - been on a bit over a year and a half. I was not being sarcastic. I thought some of the folks seeing these docs had some improvements - not a cure but at least managing the symptoms. This is a bit depressing to me…

There are some examples of guys making improvements with the docs: Quint says Crisler’s TRT helped him have sex without meds, razorxtr improved with Crisler (then came back and said anti-depressants did it), one or two have been helped by Shippen (including one who won’t say he’s with Shippen publicly). There are far more examples of guys who have made little progress, and no one has ever had PFS cured.

Even PFS isn’t that active a topic on Crisler’s forum anymore, in between ‘hormones 101’ and the USA’s supposed slide into third world communism. Although I’m grateful for Crisler for his compassion and attempting to bring attention to this, sometimes, he must have made a hell of a lot of money from us. I’m also a bit suspicious of his cheerleaders on various forums always telling men to go and see him.

anyone tried to contact traish?

is only a researcher or he works also in hospitals?

Traish is a professor and researcher, not sure if he sees patients.

i see

i thought that u was in contact with all best pfs doc

Not sure I understand your point?

i presumed that u had contacts with all top researchers, sorry if i mistaken.
i was just wondering why u didn’t get info on him, i think he could be one of the best
doc (IF he sees patients)

To my knowledge, Traish is attending the seminar on PFS in Italy this month. Mew is partly responsible along with a few other guys for making that happen.

i know irwig is attending, not traish
