Do doctors believe us now ?

Just a question has someone been to a doctor who is now convinced of the PFS ? So I mean local doctors not people like dr. Irwig.

I’m just too tired to go to doctors who claim it’s just psychological ,

another question is how many of you did an penile tumescence/injection to the spongy body test (I don’t know the name of it )
and get the diagnosis that there is something wrong with it ?

I’d like to do it in some time because of increasing of penile curvature … but my doctor told me not to do it because of scar tissue reasons

Very few. I think my General Prac “might” believe me. But then again maybe he just thinks I’m crazy… but I showed him my fucked up 3adiolg and off the charts cortisol and acth so that added to my credibility.

my general pract. admit possibility of fina damages, but on the other hand try to find other dyagnosis

he said : honestly i can’t do much for an unknown condition, let’s hope that u have another manageable illiness

Similar here, my GP admitted there was ‘something going on’ but was clueless about what to do about it and fairly passive in trying to tackle it or refer me on. I think he would have brushed it off as something else were it not for the obvious and rapid physical changes like muscle loss.

I would at least expect uros and maybe endos to be aware of the problem now thanks to the published studies.

Trouble is, the nature of PFS seems to be unchartered territory for the medical world so you can’t really expect doctors to have any idea what causes it, let alone how to rectify it. And, generally speaking, male hormone problems seem poorly understood anyway, sadly.
