This study reveals that DIM acts as an androgen receptor antagonist.
For men having problems with DHT and prostate after quitting Finasterid this dim stuff could be counterproductive…

Yeah, I was gonna’ take this stuff–but I found enough evidence to convince me NOT to take it. It does seem counterproductive, I quote from this link: thirdage.com/healthguide/diindolylmethane

In addition and in relation to what you speak of, I read this from the same site:

DIM also appears to have an anti-testosterone effect, which could make it helpful for preventing or treating breast cancer. 28 Again, on some websites this effect has been over-optimistically termed “balancing testosterone levels.”

So… I’m sorry… but taking something labeled as having “an anti-testosterone effect” is a rather big turn-off. Seems counterproductive.

It’s more of an anti estrogen/estradiol than it is an anti test drug. That’s why you can purchase it from body building sites. If it was so bad for test, they wouldn’t be selling it.
