Diagnosed venous leak (doppler test). Doctors can’t explain how it’s possible

Had a doppler yesterday. No venous leak. Had like 80% erection with Caverject and first time since May I had erection also when standing (couple of minutes). I´m really confused. Doctor said this is something like PSSD or PFS.

Interesting. Seems that things aren’t broken at least.

Ever optimistic - your situation seems to have improved a little. It’s possible it’ll continue to do so.

BTW I got my lab tests also. My testosterone and thyroxine has drastically decreased.

S -hsTesVL 183* pmol/l (230-575) -> Before meds 406
S -hsTesto 9.8* nmol/l (10-38) -> Before meds 24
T4-V 11 pmol/l (9-19) -> Before meds 14

zensan, exact sams thing happened to me, its 2.5 years since my crash

first year i went to various urologists and had 3 doppler tests done, 1 said i had a venous leak, 1 said I was fine, the other said he didnt know. A venous leak is not a leak per se, its a malfunction of the smooth muscle tissue in the penis, meaning they dont relax suffiently to trap blood in the penis and you lose your erection (especially when standing up)

Smooth muscle tissue relaxation is caused by your body releasing nitrous oxide, which is controlled by the neurosteroids that connect your brain and your dick, which are in turn regulated by your sex hormones ( DHT, which fin blocks)

From my reading of everything, the comminly held theory is that fin causes some kind of androgen insensitivity, ie its not about the level of testosterone or dht, more about how your body uses it

Therefore I have been focusing on increasing my androgen receptors, by the following

-Resistsnce training

  • L carnitane
  • L dopa
  • Good diet and taking care of my stomach

I also take l arginine which increases nitric oxide and I find great, its quite similar to cialis, which I dont want to take every day ( however useful when you need to “perform”)

Overall I can get morning erections most days without cialis with above protocol and seem to be on a painfully slow upward gradient in my recovery, although I find that my symtoms seem to come in cycles and i still have very bad days

Im no expert on all of this but I have had some relief so maybe it might help you

Thank you. I´m also pretty sure now it´s an androgen problem
