Dallas Buyers Club

I was watching the Dallas Buyers Club tonight and couldn’t help but draw a comparison between how HIV was first dealt with and PFS. While our problems aren’t terminal (suicide aside), it’s easy to see similarities, such as lack of awareness, lack of treatment options etc. Unfortunately for us PFS affects far fewer people, so there won’t be the publicity and investment in treatment options.

What is the equivalent of our Dallas Buyers Club? Who are our saviours? What are our treatments?

I forgot one of the main similarities: regret. Just as the characters in Dallas Buyers Club recall the time they were exposed to the cause of their demise, as do we.

Looking forward to seeing it!

I’d also recommend “How to survive a plague”, a documentary about the same topic.

The documentary “house of numbers” really nails the HIV=AIDS myth.

Thats all I’ll say on this subject.

AIDs denial? Wow, I guess there’s people who will deny anything.

No AID$ is unquestionable real its what causes it is what is debated.
