The problem start with finasteride 5 mg i used for 5 months

Finasteride 1 mg: december 2009 to january 2012 no side effects much libido
Finasteride 5mg: January 2012 to August 2012, side effects start in april the impotence, persisted several months using not wanting baldness

My exprience is: no problem with 1 mg of finasteride I came to ejaculate daily x 5, for me finasteride 1 mg seemed to increase libido. But I had the bad idea of using finasteride 5 mg believing that would not side with 1, also would not with 5. me fucked.

    English is not my language so:

I started losing hair at 14, discovered baldness at 19. I was desperate, I wanted to kill myself, could not imagine my life bald, I always loathe bald people, wanted to kill me, so I started with finasteride 1 mg to hold the hair, I was safer. I had no side effects at a dose of 1 mg I used until January 2012, but realized that medicine was not holding the hair, only delaying, and despair took over again, without thinking changed to finasteride 5 mg and in the third month of use her one day to the next I was totally impotence.I persisted with fin 5mg because rather be impotent than being bald, but I saw that not finasteride 5 mg was holding my hair, then dropped in August, spent more than three months and there was only improvements, I had erections with stimulation but only get lost easily. However before I was completely impotent, with shrunken testicles and the penis( have returned to normal size). I was told that I should wait 6-12 months before considering post finasteride syndrome.

I had all possible side effects, ( total impotence inclueded) with finasteride 5 mg, i quit at 3 months and middle. Almost all the side effects left except erectile dysfunction and prostate pain but that happens less and less often. I had some libido back and notice that gradually appearing weak spontaneous erections and nocturnal too, returning to normal slowly. With the discontinuation of finasteride 5 mg, I’ve developed a huge (very very big oO) cyst in the right epididymis, and instead believe that he might be hindering my erections and causing discomfort in the prostate. Overall I feel good, I have no more depression, have pimples, the sperm is normal, however the difucultadade in obtaining erections, this cyst hurts too. Do you think there is a possibility of this cyst be causing these two problems( erectile dysfunction, and prostate discomfort)? I want it operates.

I started with finasteride in december of 2009 to December of 2011, no problems or side effects. I started use finastride 5 mg in january of 2012 and in april begins total impotence. I insisted using finasteride 5 mg until August and then stopped. There was very little improvement in these six months, but still continued side effects . Why they appeared only with the use of 5 mg and not at the dose of 1 mg?I’m trying Tribulus terrestris, because the situation is sad.

My persistent side effects start at 3 mothns with finasteride 5 mg, after 1 years and 3 moths persists ( with a few enhancements) but persists i have:

apathy
erectile dysfunction
pain in testicles
insomnia

I’ve been trying: dostinex, indux, tamoxifen to reverse, but all these drugs only improve a little, and do not resolve. Some days the pain in testicles, is unbearable and end up having problems with insomnia too. In short: it did not work, I have no life, live indifferent to everything locked up at home, masturbating with penis pump half. Once I wanted to commit suicide by baldness, today I want to kill myself for being a zombie. In further still with minoxidil and ketoconazole shampoo against baldness. Finasteride not stopo my hairloss and give me hard side effects.

After my crash in april 2012 with Finasteride 5 mg, the side effects are leaving: the mood is returning, Sleep stage R.E.M (Now I can sleep.), zits, feelings and feelings by women. But spontaneous erections, have not returned yet I am waiting. I’m not making use of any treatment for PFS, for those who did not work. I’m treating baldness using minoxidil + topical finasteride ( I’m not having systemic absorption because I feel my body recover) And my hair is not falling over because even with finasteride 1 mg or 5 mg, did not stop the progression of my baldness, What seems to work are the topics. I will report the progress of improvements.
