I gave the doc the list of blood tests to order but these were the only ones she thought were applicable/available:
Progesterone: 4.5 nmol/L (<3.8)
Cortisol 564 nmol/L (220-880)
Oestradial 112 pmol/L (<198)
LH 6.2 mlU/ml (2.0-8.0)
FSH 2.9 (2.0-10.0)
Testosterone 25.6 nmol/L (8.5-30)
SHBG 37 nmol/L (15-70)
Free Androgen Index 692 (160-1190)
The progesterone is high, and I’ve been mostly getting mental side effects (brain fog, difficulty sleeping). Could this be related?
What did the doc say about your results? Was there a range for men given, for the Estradiol reading?
You have mid-range LH and high Total T. Unfortunate you did not get DHT, Prolactin, TSH or Free Testosterone checked.

The doc said that my progesterone wasn’t really that high and nothing to worry about.
But, this test just came back:
Basal 17-OH Progesterone 21.2 nmol/L ( 0.0 - 6.0 )
This is way out of range. The doc seemed a bit worried and said i need to get a stimulated 17-OH Progesterone test, whatever that means.
