Could the damage caused by Propecia be similar to what happens to Meth users?

I was watching a program about Meth users. Appearently Meth works by causing the brain to increase dopamine levels. The high it gives can last as long as 6 hours. Meth is 6 times more powerful the cocaine. But like any drug, there is consequences. After a while, a user can no longer get the same great high they use to get when they first started using it. So, they use more and more meth trying to obtain that great high. They can’t get that high anymore because the brain reacts to the high and abnormal amounts of dopamine and it starts to down regulate the amount of dopimine the flows from the receptors. Even after quitting Meth, a user is normally never the same, the brain continues to produce low levels of dopimine. Thus, the user is now depressed and feeling worst than ever.

Just like with Meth users, maybe our bodies sensed the fact that testosterone was no longer being converted to DHT like it should, thus a higher amount of testosterone was being created but not being converted, so our bodies down regulated the sensitivity that our receptors have towards testosterone. So now, it does not matter if we supplement with testosterone because our bodies have already down regulated to what if felt was abnormal, while on propecia. I know the strongest theory, on here, is that our bodies are now insensitive to testosterone due to propecia, but this theory makes even more sense to me after watching this program.

Well, just a thought…whether it makes sense or not.

But there are still signs of testosterone elsewhere in the body apart from the genitals. Facial hair, muscles, deep voice etc…

There may be times where estrogen balance is out of whack, but we are for the most part responding to testosterone except sexually right?

The symptoms of meth withdrawal are kind of similar to what we are going through but they are usually “normal” again in 18 months.

If you’re lucky, yes.
