Costs of PFS Therapy?

Hi,

I am still trying to recover the natural way (gym, diet, relax, natural supplements) but it has not worked out yet and I am considering to see a doctor with a good reputation and experience.

My question is, how much does a therapy cost? I mean tests plus the medicine afterwards? It would be great if you could just give me approximate number. I have looked in the forum but I have not come across any information on that.

Thank you!

Cheers

What do you really expect is going to be achieved from seeing a dr?

if there were any pfs therapies available believe me id be on them, ive been to endo,s etc years ago, they told me bluntly not to come back as there was nothing they could do for me,must be in your head heres some viagra, that is all doctors will tell you, they’ll run some blood tests then tell you everything is within range so it must be psychological, nobody knows what is causing pfs yet so how can they even begin to treat it???,maybe a treatment will be here in a few years time when the current studies are finished etc…

Thank you for your replies. What am I supposed to do than? Just wait until somebody out there finds a solution for this mess? What about all these recovery stories we read? I just want to take some action because I want to be healthy again like before PFS… right now I am happy even if I have small improvements, as already mentioned, my mindset is take this step by step and I have faith that one day I will be “normal” again

There are no treatments. However, read the 2014 PFS Foundation address. Everything you need to know is in there.

U have to find something that works and stick to it… If ure hormones are in normal range and ure still having issues then erectile dysfinction meds may be ure only option… But I wouldn’t take them everyday… I would do like three days a week… Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday… like a 2.5 mg or less…and just stay healthy

what use is taking ed meds when your genitals are numb???,the trouble is theres no libido,no urge to have sex,no feeling in my cock,no pleasure,no sexual thoughts because i have pfs…

Well sir I can honestly say I do have libido… its not as high as it was prefinasteride but its there… I do have the urge to cum or have sex… When I do have sex when I don’t take any ed meds it is pleasurable… I do have sexual thoughts!!!.. I have been told I have very mild pfs and TRT has helped me… But however I guess I wasn’t hit that bad

I used Cialis 5mg now for a few times, sometimes it works amazingly well but other times not that much, but I think it works well on days when I am rested and dont have that much stress.

My thoughts on visiting a doctor are the following, the same way everyone has responded to this medicine (some got affected some did not) I think its the same with visiting a doctor, some people will probably respond different to medicine or using the natural method than others. I will go and see a doctor and if he can not help me, I will try an other one and other one. Well, my mindset is, if I am still suffering from PFS in a few years at least I want to say to myself “I tried everything I could” and this will give me a peace of mind since I took action and not waiting for a miracle to happened.

Yes I agree… I was diagnosed with secondary hypo and I am on TRT… Im not perfect yet but I am close… I think the longer I go on trt everything will kick back in… Im just giving it time

Praying To Heal, I am not sure how TRT works? I read mixed messages all over the place, some say once you start using it, you have to keep using it as long as you want to stay active and it causes damage to your own natural system, is that correct? Or is it possible to start TRT and your system takes over after your levels are good again?

The question is, what are the side effects from TRT? What happens when you stop it?

Thank you!

I have heard that once ure bodys own ability is shut down that if u stop TRT. then ure testosterone will go back to baseline…So once u stop t will go back down

There is no such thing as a PFS therapy right now. A handful of medications help some side effects for “some” people. Some people with light cases of PFS claim sexual recovery with time and certain self promoted protocols. In 3 years 8 months I’ve not seen a any single protocol that works consistently for every person.

I think water fasting while not necessary a cure will benefit everybody to some degree who has PFS.

I seen guys who have various diseases say water fasting helps. Maybe it does help some of our side effects, but you would have to cycle on and off to reap the benefits over any length of time.

I put my full mental recovery down to fasting.

How long did u fast>>

The longest fast I did was 7 days. But it was the 4 day fast that helped me the most.

What did fasting do as far as improving ure symptoms??

It made me think a lot clearer also it slowly brought my emotions back.
