Yet another e-mail I received today. I’m sure many of you have received this, but if not, please do your part. I just e-mailed Sandy Walsh earlier today. We must continue to force this down their throats. Thanks.

I already did. She told me to tell it to another department. Same fucking story everygoddamntime.
I have written an e-mail to her.
To which department should you go? Do you have a name and an e-mail address?
They always say go to medwatch. I’ve done that many times already.
do you have an e-mail address of medwatch. I want to write to them. The more people write to them the more attention they get.

You have to fill out a series of forms etc. This is what they will be looking at when they decide what regulatory changes to make to the drug so it is extremely important you thoroughly fill out your Medwatch report.
Frustrated,
thanks for the link with the form. Here is the problem: Many people are reluctant to fill out the form with one’s name and detailed medical issues since it is not subject to professional secrecy (such as with a doctor).
Look at this forum. It works because everybody is anonymous and, hence, can disclose his delicate problems. We only tell our doctors what’s going on as it stays with him.
Use a fake name. Just get the report filed, that’s whats important.
Exactly.
When you submit a Medwatch form to the FDA your name will be removed on any form that can be retrieved by somebody in the public. If you still feel uncomfortable, I suggest contacting one of the Complaint Coordinators from the FDA to get their reassurance because it is very important that you send it your information. I don’t suggest you use a fake identity because if this is discovered it may cast doubt on the validity for the rest of us who submitted clean stories.
