We live in a world of vanity with perfect hair perfect bright white teeth and tattoos it’s all bullshit like this that sets us off on the road to self destruction . Why can’t we just be Normal with normal expectations of ourselves and others.

Got it. You said they “have been affected” and they they haven’t attributed it to the cause of their suffering, which is more than just saying they took the drug. Chances are (statically speaking) Propecia isn’t the cause of their suffering.
Maybe you’re right, but just by conducting some simple google image searches, one thing they all have in common is that they look sick. Droopey eyes, straw like hair, muscle loss. It’s a known fact that Elan Musk suffers from severe Insomnia. So much so that some say his company has suffered as a result. You can sort of put some pieces together.

I see now some photos of Avicii, the famous swedish dj died this year due to stress and anxiety.
He was going bald. Physical changes are incredible. He was clearly sick. Insane muscle wasting and horrible face condition.
Official statement declared alcohol abuse, pancreatitis and too much stress and anxiety due to work.
I scrolled through a lot of pictures of Elon Musk before I found one where he didn’t look like he was sleep deprived.
If only he wanted to fund medical studies.

He is running two billion dollar companies, of course he is sleep deprived. If you read his book, he has been sleep deprived since college (surely was not taking propecia). He is a machine and maybe the stress is getting to him. Drawing a parallel between him looking tired in pictures and him having PFS is a stretch IMO.
Why is it difficult for you to consider the possibility that celebrities have PFS? They bleed red just like we do. Elon had hair transplant surgery and was prescribed Fin at this time (2012). 6 years on Fin is more than enough time to turn you into a theoretical tranny (sorry if that offends anyone but its true)
Not difficult to consider the possibility, but chances are it’s not propecia (statistically speaking). This condition is extremely rare, so the likelyhood that every stressed or depressed celebrity who has taken the drug suffers from PFS doesn’t make sense. Do you think Elon could successfully run two companies, raise kids, and start two more companies all while having PFS? Most of us are struggling with daily activities, and he is literally killing it at life. Doubt he has PFS.
The line between having PFS and not having it can be easily blurred. I’m still not convinced that it’s that black and white. I don’t consider myself to have PFS but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t affected. I don’t mean to drag this on but if you listen to his interviews from years ago, and listen to them now - theres a stark contrast in his language motor skills and keen sharpness that he was previously known for. Mind you, he’s still on the drug as far as I know, I think Joe Rogan was talking about it on a blog.
Agreed - maybe Propecia is affecting him, but clearly not enough for him to really care. Sometimes, for some, side effects of drugs are worth their results. Definitely not the case for most of us.

Thats funny you said that about Avicii, I was wondering about him too but I couldn’t find any reports making a connection. I wouldn’t be surprised though, I watched an interview of him on youtube and he was extremely insecure about his appearance. Its one of the top interviews when you search on youtube

this is y i was glad when i found out trump is taking propecia 2… if he crashes then probably in a year or less they will find some semi cure or at least the cause …those celeb u named probably suffer some sort of sides but they havent crashed (yet) cause if they did they would ve spreadthe word by now…man i miss my oldself damn u fda and merck never imagined one day i would miss my stupid habits and snobby attitude

This is very interesting, but what evidence do we have that Elon, Bieber or anyone else besides Trump is on Propecia? Yes, it makes sense that Elon should be on propecia since it is obvious he had hair transplant and we know Propecia is standard treatment after hair transplant but is there any evidence beyond suspicion? If anyone could post interviews, links, discussions, etc I would appreciate it.
If you dig hard enough you can find stuff. The Elon Musk theory is talked about on a lot of hairloss forums, there is also a strong connection between him and Joe Rogan. We know Joe Rogan for sure consumed finasteride because in one interview he talks about how it “killed his dick”. The same applies to the other celebrities, just bits and pieces here and there on the internet. It’s also known that Fin was found in Robin Williams autopsy report at the time of death. Wish I could give you more info

I was deeply saddened by his death, I was a big fan of his music from a young age and one of the first producers of house music I ever heard. He was an amazing guy and his music always cheered me up.

I think that it is possible that propecia has affected famous and powerful people and it has been speculated on here in the past e.g. Heath Ledger and Robin Williams. Without their own testimony it would be incredibly difficult to put the blame at propecia’s door, especially in Robin Williams case where he was taking a plethora of drugs and had various diagnoses. I can only assume that there will be those in powerful positions who have been affected. It then needs the affected individuals to both be aware that propecia has caused this and to then come out about it. Edit: I wrote this before reading the discussion after Baz’s post.

Hey man I just went to go see endocrinologist and they said all hormones were ok to see a neurologist. My main concern is my lack of motivation, lack of hope for myself at times, tired, piss way too much, burts of sadness, I’m horny as hell now erection is crazy. Still don’t feel like working out much, eating ok. I feel at times I can’t concentrate, and focus. And short term memory is in and out. I kinda feel trapped. Like how long has this been messing up my life? What is your status?
