However PFS is a very rare condition.
A lot of my friends and my dad’s friends (a lot of doctors) use finasteride (even dutasteride) and minoxidil to treat male pattern baldness without any problems, actually they look better than ever (smart people, in a relationship, gym addicted and obviously a lot of hairs).
I got PFS from Saw Palmetto extract (and not from finasteride) and it’s a common supplement (holy shit).
There are several papers about PFS but there aren’t any randomized controlled trials about finasteride long term side effects and also about a possible PFS.
A legal lawsuit against Merck could destroy you financially.
Find a protocol to fix your condition and a good doc because at the moment there aren’t any other chance.

I think there are no ways to prove that the symptoms are connected with the use of the drug.
There are no exams after which you may say it has been dyagnosed this illness that is olso, for me, the main problem to find the cure…

I’m from sf trying to look into this. From what I’ve read if you didn’t start meds before 2011 your case gets shit canned. Also contacted 25+ law firms in sf ca and most said no proof no case bye. So literally no idea how to proceed forward. Any tips help family lawyers referrals to pursue legal action in regards to help us feel better is appreciated.
i think i started before that time im not sure cause i started a while back then for some reason quitted then again started in 2015-2016 …ive talked to some lawyers one of them was a friend of close friend so she was WILLING to help she shared my issue with his coworkers and after lots of research she told me she FEELS that Merck is silencing the case and layers who are in pharmaceutical cases kinda KNOW that this case wont win them anything thats y they dont wanna get involved in pfs cases… but as im looking back to my life with lots of credit debts(directly because of PFS, dr visits and shit) and also my career life which was ruined directly by pfs i got so pissed, im looking up to find some ways to make them pay for their mess, right now talking to some new lawyers…also ive interviewed with 2 french paper…i will do my best to spread the word and hopefully make them pay for it…also if some1 can help me as my friend said it would be highly appreciated

Yeah brah.
However a legal lawsuit against a big pharma requires more money.
Fortunately healthcare and drugs in Italy are affordable.
Like many people I used generics with no prescriptions so no way of getting compensation
If I had been prescribed the medication I would be doing my best to get compensation and more importantly get help to cure the problem’s that have this drug has caused for me.
I can’t fault anyone wanting some form of compensation for this nightmare…

It’s for the best to help the scientific effort to understand the mechanism(s) of PFS through the foundation. Once we can prove the drug causes the problems we’re experiencing, legal action is a more viable option.
Of course, helping to fund the research also means effective treatment is more likely. You’re far more likely to improve your condition by funding the science, and it’s safer than running experiments on your body via some “protocol” you read about on the internet.

In sweden we have a pharmecy insurance company that almost every drug is connected to. This meen that if you get any side effects from a drug you coulde get compansation. I have send in my case for a while ago and going to get my answer probely in the winter. The good thing is only have to be a chance that this sideeffects comes from a drug to them to agree with it. I think that system woulde be good in other countries to because it set a preshure on the state witch is admitting the drug in the countrie. I dont Know get how they are going to get but Im glad i dont have to go through the legal system.

There is no recognised treatment for PFS.
Some people have found that particular diets, fasting or supplements or pharmaceuticals have helped.
Other people have found the same treatments that have helped some people have worsened their condition.
Some people get better without doing anything extraordinary. Time is a healer for many.
You might find that some of the things talked about here help you. If you were a betting man, your best bet would be to back the science.
I would love to know how long it will take for a treatment or cure to appear but unfortunately, I don’t think anyone can give you or I that info today. What we can agree on is that the more studies that are funded, the more knowledge we accumulate and that knowledge is the thing which is most likely to lead to treatment.
At this stage, there is lots to be optimistic about. Though times are difficult at the moment, you need not consider this your final state.

I don’t think you are wrong currently, however if there was a way of demonstrably proving certain side effects like penile tissue loss, the cluster of side effects feel to me so specific across the board to finasteride that causality could be argued.
I feel that the American political system is currently so embedded to big business that probably one of the things to pursue would be to try and stack the odds in your favour more by voting for those who aren’t funded by lobbyists. I appreciate that this is a gargantuan ask, but something needs to be done, especially in the current climate. I’m of course raising this as a specific issue rather than a more general partisan political discussion.

thanks for ur reply, by voting u mean in big scale ? like presidential election ? dude president himself is taking fin so if he is gonna decide who is right without even being on the side of big cooperations he is gonna say im taking the drug with noside so probably pfs is sheer BS, im saying its ridiculus just because science CANNOT find any connection between propecia/fin and PFS so we are doomed…its like som1 kills sombody else with a knife infront of other people and then hide his knife and police say cause we cant find his knife so he is not the murderer, SIDES are identical and it hits people right after consuming propecia its sience fault that cannot find the connection not pfsers… imao 99% of politicians here are corrupt also i think big pharma and fda guys kno exactly what propecia is capable pf but because some reasons(who knows what) they choose to remain silent … i was thinking a gathering infront of mercks HQ would bring media attention to this cause and it might MAKE them to do something(not 2-3 people but imagine 1000 pfsers stay one week infront of merck …in tents and shit it might sound ridiculous but we gotto do something for ourselves )

all the people i know (around my age) are saving up for their future, thanks to pfs i am in debt, also spending big portion of what i earn on different protocols and treatments(up to 60%) this is how fair US judiciary and FDA is, while ken fraizer is praised as hero cause he walked out of TRUMP’s counselor circle…
