common (button) mushroom experience

Hi all

I tried common mushroom (200 gm daily) for two weeks and stopped about 5 days ago. I will redo this after 2 weeks to confirm my findings.IF any body wants to do this most welcome. Here is my detail

Fatigue—> a lot less, more energy
Brain fog–> almost disappeared. Felt normal.
sleep —> very good. I did not getup for a single time
feet, toes, heel and hand joint pain—> gone.
burning feeling in my feet. Shoes feel hard on my feet like made up iron, very uncomfortable–> this feeling had disappeared.
I feel new hair growth in my legs. My legs have lost hair after sides from SP.
The weirdest thing which happened is I got a wet dream after four years during this treatment. I think it is just coincidence.
I used to have wet dreams almost regularly if did not have sex for 5-6 days.It has stopped completely now.
I tried mushroom after reading a website where a guy claims to have find cure for Diabetes and Celiac. He says these are auto immune disease. He uses a formula of Mushroom+Goji berries+ a specific Antigen related to the disease. He says many of his patients have recovered. I read his theory, Oral tolerance which makes sense. There is more detail but I can not give it here as it will become advertisement for his formula.

i’m very interested in this. i’m also interested in the Reishi mushroom. Seems like a lot of reported benefits. Anyone taken magic mushrooms with PFS? Experiences?

common mushroom? like creminis or shitakes that i might find in bulk at the food store? also, not sure that reishi is your friend. i’ve eaten a lot of it, confirmed 5ar inhibitor, definitely reduced my 5arii, i could feel it. f*ck it, who knows.

special mushrooms, on the other hand…

SWIM has not taken any since the onset of pfs, though SWIM have taken what were probably DOx (but maybe lucy) tabs and veritable 4-aco-“dee-emm-tee”

the tabs were weird. felt vasoconstriction (various ergot-derived compounds possess vascular side effects, lowering or raising blood pressure), also balls kinda shriveled up. i know that when my body is in better shape, i can tolerate things (chemicals, physical exertion) better on the whole. the opposite is most certainly true as well. maybe my body was in sour shape. hmm. at any rate, this never happened before pfs.

the other one, however, wow. wowee. i’ll refer to this one as just “four”.
very similar to mushrooms. “four” metabolizes into the same chemical (psilocin) that psilocybin (principal psychoactive constituent) does. similar body load, headspace, no significant sides. but check me out here: after consuming (swim, oc, yada yada) the “four,” swim felt like swim was “leaking time,” or “going sideways in time.” empirically, this notion of being “temporally askew” is erroneous. however, swim had a crazy near-death experience, and the empiricist swim was once exclusively had to make room for the new guy. i’ll eschew the esoteric, metaphysical bs for now, but imo the strange temporal “misplacement” felt highly relevant to our mutual malady.

friends of mine who have eaten mushrooms have noted that when they eat more caps or more stems, their experiences can either assume a more feminine or a more masculine (respectively) tone to it. i’ve nothing to add to this, just wanted to share.

hell, i’ll eat 200g of shitakes per day and see what happens.

what do you mean by either assume a more feminine or a more masculine (respectively) tone to it?

I am talking of this common mushroom Agaricus bisporus - is the white Button mushroom found in most U.S. and Canadian supermarkets. See article ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18287364

maybe this is the reason I felt better ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?ter … stosterone

Anti-aromatase activity of phytochemicals in white button mushrooms (Agaricus bisporus).

I am starting to think 5ar inhibitors are not the root problem here.

Mushroom is both Aromatase and DHT inhibitor so use caution.
This guy took Fin when was 25 years old and now at 42 still suffering.

4/19/11 - Lab #1

E2 51 pg/ml (3 - 45 pg/ml)

(I started eating white mushrooms - agaricus bisporus for the next 10 days)
4/29/11 - Lab #2
E2 6.9 (7.6 - 42.6 pg /ml)

I see the results and say to Lab #2 that there must be some mistake since 10 days ago my E2 was off the high range. I take the test again at 5/2/11 in Lab #2 and i get this :

E2 9.6 (7.6 - 42.6 pg/ml)
I then go to Lab #1 and show them the results from Lab #2 and ask for a repeat. The doctor of Lab #1 asks me whether i took anything (of course i say NO). The doctor says that he will give blood sample to yet another lab. Results

E2 17 (11 - 44 pg /ml)
and
E2 36 (5 - 70 pg /ml)

Gentlemen, white button mushrooms (150 grams at night) is a potent aromatase inhibitor. Google it too and you will find the relevant paper.

what about libido? is it up as well?

did you read the link I provided?
I can not say for sure what is doing what. I have been off of Gluten since 24th of Jan and I was already feeling better. It looks like Gluten is also big player here.

How do you eat them? Cooked, raw?

I was eating raw but don’t eat them as I now found it is both aromatase and DHT inhibitor.Maybe I first felt better due to low estrogen and 5 AR inhibition show up late. so do some research on hairloss forums. I found some impotence posts from Reishi mushrooms ( the same which JN is taking I don’t know why he is taking this poison).
