Ok, so im suffering from ED because of propecia, so a few months back i decided to give cialis a shot. Well, the first time i tried it i took the 10mg and it gave me a 5 hour boner that just wouldn’t go away. then for the next day or so my penile response was pretty good, so i’d say cialis was a success for me.

But, ever since that day, Cialis now does NOTHING for me, it maybe helps me just a tad bit, but nothing really noticeable. the only thing i notice it does for me now is it gives me like a wierd litle kinda pain feeling in my prostate area when i get erections.

anyone know why this could be?

Well, your ED due to Propecia is probably because of lack of arousal, which Cialis will not help. It’s mildly mysterious why you responded the first time, but I’ve found drugs/supplements often work once and then the body adapts. There may have been an element of placebo effect.

I would look at assisting arousal by altering your hormone profile or increasing dopamine levels. PDE5 inhibitors probably aren’t going to cut it.

i hope you didn’t really have a 5 hour erection. you’re not supposed to have one more than 4 hours or you need to go to the hospital as it can cause permanent damage. haven’t you heard that disclaimer in the commercials?

actually now that i think about it, it was just about exactly a 4 hour boner. maybe like 4 hour and 15 minutes cause i remember the exact time which the drug took effect and when the effect wore away. but i mean it wasnt painful or anything just mostly annoying. and its not like that event worsened my ed condition, it was just the same after, and ive even improved slightly since then.

Recently, I’ve been to urologyst and he prescribed cialis. He told me that it will improve blood circulation genitals area and it may have a good influence on my recovery.

I take 10mg and it works quite well (each 3rd day). Everything feels ok and I get good erections.

Contrary to what jxpx1 experienced, cialis didn’t stop working for the next times I take it.

What are conclusions? Is it means that with my hormones everything is Ok? My latest bloodtest, I think looks quite well, so maybe hormones are not my issue right now?

Currently I want to stick to cialis as it works well for me. I hope it will help to permamently resolve my ED problems.

On cialis description, there is note that it works up to 36h. Even 3 days after taking a pill I easier get erections and they are better, so I think it is a good sign.

Hi guys, I know this is an older post but maybe some of you still come to check it. My doc just prescribed cialis for me last week, proscar gave me major ED and since kegel exercises and herbal alternatives did not work for me he said cialis will do the trick. I have not bought it yet because I am to shy, I know a few people working at our local pharmacy? How did you guys do it, did you buy it at the local pharmacy, online, wife buy it for you? I have been researching online here http://www.edguider.com/cialis_20mg.html but do not know which one is most reliable? Does anyone know of a good place to buy?

Hmm, just go to any pharmacy, get it filled, and buy it… Cialis is Cialis–get what the doc prescribed. No offense, but sexual dysfunction is a humiliating thing to begin with, so don’t get shy because you have to buy E.D. pills.

Yeah you are right. I will go to Walgreens, its about 45 minute drive but at least I do not know anyone at that pharmacy. Its almost feels like buying tampons for you wife, feels like being less of a man. :open_mouth: and if a girl is the pharmacist it feels even worse …

hah, well get used to it. Having sexual dysfunction is what it is. If the girl cares, which I doubt she will, then who cares? Doesn’t make you any less of a human being.

Try to just focus on recovering, not what other people think :smiley:

Agree with you once again. I guess I care to much about what other people think, but I have to put my health first this time… so screw it!!! :smiley:

Yep. The Cialis did something for me the first couple times and now-- nothing.
