Long time member, first-time poster. More on my condition, background and story to follow in a subsequest post.
For now…this background:
I’m 38. I’ve been off Propecia for 8 months. I have PFS. I have had some bright spots when it comes to the effects, but overall, I need to fix a lot going on right now. I have had shrinkage in penis and testicles, among typical PFS ED issues.
One thing I’m trying to decide is a Cialis regiment.
I’ve used 10mg doses of Cialis from time to time and had good success with it. Even helping me for 2-4 days of pretty decent erections while “getting with” my girlfriend.
My doctor had suggested gong on daily dose, since I’m pretty active in my sex life (trying to be at least despite these issues).
I’m starting to read that there’s hope for fixing the softening/shrinking of penis with tadalafil. I also noted some other suggestions of supplements: horny goat weed, l-arginine, etc.
Questions:
a) Is a low-dose cialis daily a good way to go? i.e. anyone have experience with this?
b) What other treatments along with cialis would others recommend? i.e. any truth to some of these supplements being worth a try?
c) In starting a daily dose regiment, my doctor suggested I FIRST take like 10mg to “get a good baseline to start”… then do the 2.5mg daily dose. Although I should just listen to my doctor, I’m not yet convinced he is really in-tune to my PFS claims (will be seeing about another doctor likely).
So, any others do the daily dose and had similar way to start off? Or does it even matter, and I should just start on 2.5mg daily?
I’m hoping that Cialis will help improve the ongoing structure of my penis (maybe eventually back to normal without it), and of course, have a better/normal experience with sex. This, of course, if a SAFE intermediary step as we/I find out more about the PFS condition in hopes of finding the cure to all of the issues.
Thanks for any help/direction.
