Chia seeds

I’ve been taking chia seeds the last three days, and each night I felt very well and fell asleep very easily, but I took them in fruit and vegetable juices, so it might have been the juices that did the trick. Anyone has been taking chia? It’s not something that’s been studied so much and I wonder what effect it has on hormones or if it has any.

I take it every day and it is helpful for the general well-being, but in terms of the PFS symptoms I don’t think it helps directly on any of them.
Chia is better than flax seed for many reasons, the main one for us is because, unlike flax seed, it doesn’t have phyto estrogens. However, all omega 3 oils mildly inhibit the conversion to DHT, if your DHT is low I wouldn’t recommend it.

I knew about flax seeds being estrogenic and was staying away from it, but not about omega-3s affecting DHT convertion. I’ll try not to take to much of it. Still, it seems to be very good stuff. I was hangover yesterday, and coming back home, I was so exhausted I didn’t know if I was going to be able to go to the gym, but after taking two table spoons of it in water, I didn’t feel so exhausted anymore and even felt less tensed.
