Nice to see more media exposure, and good to know Irwig is still pressing the issues. He’s my endo (I work four blocks from GWU) and despite lack of willingness to try any treatments, he’s at least willing to sit in front of a camera and chastise Merck when so many doctors let big pharma boss them around. He’s never been able to get me on TV, but a few magazines have interviewed me thanks to his media contacts.

Why is he unwilling to try any treatments?
Yeah I paid $360 out of pocket to see him. Told him my cock and balls shrunk, my muscles all waisted, couldn’t sweat, jacked GI, no energy, insomnia, low body temp all coincided with getting off finasteride and I showed him my labs showing very low T, LH and FSH. He said he didn’t think I had PFS. I was like what do you think is causing this? He said maybe I should go to Mayo and see if they could figure it out. So I asked him what he did to treat those who do have PFS and he said nothing. So questionable bedside manner for sure and I couidnt get why he wouldn’t diagnose me with it. Jacobs uktimately took my cash and so at least PFS is official. So no point in seeing Irwig for any of you. I think he gets what is going on and just has not seen the results with meds and T shots so he is ejecting not to treat. Probably rightfully so until they can get a better hand on everything.

I see irwig, and i think he is mainly interested in colllecting data points to document the problem. He does not research the underlying mechanisms and does not seem very interested
