Actor Jim Belushi wrote a (humor?) column that appeared in yesterday’s Chicago Sun-Times, in which he admits “I take Propecia for my hair.”

As many PFS victims as possible need to post a comment on that column informing Mr. Belushi of the many dangers of Propecia.

Specifically, if he continues taking the drug, he might wind up with Post-Finasteride Syndrome, which is characterized by persistent sexual, neurological, physical and hormonal side effects, including impotence, Peyronie’s disease, testosterone deficiency and depression.

I think the article is meant to be somewhat humorous, perhaps he is not taking all those medications?

Does not matter if Belushi was joking or not. The point it to use any/all such forums to interject messages about the many dangers of Propecia.

There was a guy who left a comment saying his friend killed himself last year because of his propecia use. Can we try to find out who this was? This is important I am going to try to contact the guy who left the comment.

That was me. Don’t know if “Paul” told you but Merck reads every one of these, and they likely read the comments too. It’s pivotal for us to write comments in every propecia piece on the Internet.
