A good link to why below … you can google and there are 100 articles on this. … most doctors are misinformed about this test. I have one of the best endocrinologists in nyc and he constantly told me I was wrong. A lot of people will get an estrogen test that may show in the 30’s and pop anastrizole thinking they had high estrogen when in fact their estrogen may be low. I’m a firm believer my personal PFS is estrogen related. It took years of testing until a single doctor happened to do a sensitive estrogen test on me and I suddenly realized my E was at 12 where the normal test kept saying I was “normal” ive been on this site for years and I’ve seen others post the same on here. In fact I would bet a lot of money that at least 30% or even more of the people on here have estrogen issues that somehow were caused by fin or other meds. (As well as other hormone issues) Everyone thinks testosterone is the holy grail of sex and their dick when it’s not. Estrogen plays a huge huge factor in the functioning of your penis and libido. My penis literally doesn’t work If I drop too low or I go too high. Go to a testosterone replacement blog like t-nation and do some reading on low or high estrogen. Look at the questionnaire on this website at all the check boxes of PFS and wow! 90% of those are the same symptoms of low or high estrogen Everything down to eye issues, slurred speech, depression, penile changes … in that test above Where I had Estrogen 26 and ultra sens 6, my penis was cold and 1/4 the size and almost white in color and did not work at all … viagra would make no difference. It had almost no feeling at all. Im on TRT now and my goal is always to take enough T to get my estrogen in a sweet spot not to worry about what level my testosterone is.
Is there any way to boost E2 without using TRT?
I found out that there is a laboratory here in Brazil that does the ultrasensitive E2 exam. I will test it and think of ways to increase E2.
Here’s an ignorant question: If I use Proviron, would this be classified as TRT? Will I stop producing testosterone normally? Will I depend on PCT forever?
Proviron can reduce E2 … go to t-nation blog for an explanation why. Proviron does make you horny. You can try it but I would get tests first before playing with hormones
I would see a endocrinologist for consultation.
You could try progesterone cream but I’ve never tried it. People on TRT sometimes use it. HCG increases estrogen and testosterone without stopping testosterone production. You can stop it at anytime but it’s an injection.
Im in Brazil on vacation … fun country
